On , the Financial Conduct Authority issued a warning regarding Britt Finance
In its notification, the FCA said "We believe this firm has been carrying out consumer credit activities in the UK without our permission or authorisation. Find out why to be especially wary of dealing with this unauthorised firm and how to protect yourself from scammers.".
The FCA went on to note that
Almost all firms and individuals carrying out consumer credit activities in the UK must be authorised by us.
However, some firms act without our permission or authorisation and some knowingly run scams.
